🌟 The Doors You Didn't Open 🌟

Today, Crumbelina was grumbling a little.
She had to pick up apples she hadn’t knocked down, sweep leaves she hadn’t blown – and even close the windmill door she was sure she hadn’t opened.

“That’s not fair!” she muttered under her breath.

From a nearby tree came a familiar hoot:
“Hoo-hoo, sometimes the greatest doors are the ones you didn’t open, but you closed.”

Crumbelina turned – it was Wislet the little owl, as wise as four libraries put together.

“But I didn’t make any of that mess,” Crumbelina protested.

Wislet flew down, perched on an old branch, and whispered with a smile:
“When you do something kind, even when you don’t have to – that’s when your strength grows.”

“Strength?”

“Yes. Because every small decision – to close a door you didn’t open, or to clean a plate you didn’t eat from – is like a ray of light. And when those rays come together…”

“…they can light up the future?” Crumbelina smiled.

Wislet nodded. “Come, I’ll show you.”

She led Crumbelina to Lovella’s Portal of Two Paths.

“Look to the left,” she said.
In the vision, she saw herself walking past open doors and scattered leaves, without noticing them. Everything stayed as it was – a cold draft, a mess… and people pretending everyone had enough problems of their own.

“And now to the right.”
Here she saw herself closing the doors, sweeping the leaves, and smiling while doing it. Soon others came to her, helped her, and together they cleaned the whole garden.

“See?” Wislet the little owl smiled. “One ray lights another, and soon the world is full of light.”

“Because the doors you close today for the good of all,” whispered Wislet, “will tomorrow open the right ones – just for you.”

The portal disappeared, and Crumbelina took the broom. This time she swept up, smiling, even the leaves the wind had just dropped.
Not because she had to. But because she wanted to be a small ray in something great.

Then she felt a gentle warmth in her heart – like a quiet “thank you” from no one she could see.

Wislet smiled:
“That was the universe. The rays you give away will always find their way back to you. Sometimes right when you need them most.”

✨ Task: Today, choose one small thing you’d rather postpone. Do it right away, quietly and thoroughly. Then notice what it freed up inside you – that feeling is the first opened gate.

🌈 Message:

The good you do even when you don’t feel like it is like closing the door to a draft – and quietly opening the door to your own future. Each such step sets the course for how help and opportunities come to you.
